We are looking for a Head of SEO who will help scale the SEO organization, build high-performing teams, and drive long-term business growth through organic acquisition.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Head of SEO with a proven track record of scaling SEO operations in highly competitive industries. You will be responsible for defining and executing the company's SEO vision across multiple brands, projects, and markets.

This role combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and business ownership. You will be responsible not only for SEO performance but also for building and scaling the SEO organization itself — developing team structures, management layers, operational frameworks, and growth strategies that support the company's long-term business goals.

GOALS FOR PROBATION PERIOD (FIRST 90 DAYS)

• Conduct a comprehensive audit of the current SEO organization, project portfolio, processes, and team structure
• Identify growth opportunities, operational bottlenecks, and business risks
• Develop and present a strategic SEO roadmap with priorities, KPIs, resource allocation, and expected business impact
• Evaluate team structure and implement recommendations for scaling and efficiency improvements
• Establish reporting frameworks and performance measurement standards across all SEO directions

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Define and execute the company's long-term SEO strategy across multiple projects, brands, and international markets
• Own SEO performance, including traffic growth, visibility, revenue contribution, and profitability
• Develop and execute SEO strategies for large-scale project portfolios and international brands
• Build, manage, and scale teams of SEO specialists, Team Leads, and subject-matter experts
• Design organizational structures, career frameworks, hiring plans, and talent development programs
• Allocate budgets, resources, and priorities across SEO initiatives and business units
• Develop scalable operational processes, reporting systems, SOPs, and performance management frameworks
• Ensure effective monetization of organic traffic through close collaboration with Product, Content, Analytics, Commercial, and Development teams
• Define technical SEO standards and oversee implementation with Development teams
• Prioritize and manage SEO initiatives across multiple business units and geographies
• Monitor Google algorithm updates, Core Updates, E-E-A-T requirements, anti-spam systems, and emerging industry trends
• Evaluate new markets, business opportunities, and investment initiatives from an SEO perspective
• Present strategy, forecasts, business cases, and performance reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Drive innovation through testing, automation, AI adoption, and process optimization
• Ensure alignment between SEO objectives and overall company growth targets

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience and 2+ years managing SEO teams, departments, or business directions
• Proven success building and scaling SEO teams and processes in highly competitive industries
• Experience working with large-scale SEO projects, multi-brand structures, and international markets
• Strong expertise across technical SEO, content SEO, authority building, international SEO, and performance measurement
• Strong technical SEO knowledge, including indexing, crawling, redirects, canonicals, rendering, log analysis, and server response optimization
• Deep understanding of Google Core Updates, E-E-A-T principles, search quality systems, and anti-spam algorithms
• Experience working closely with Development teams, including task prioritization, technical planning, and delivery control
• Strong understanding of traffic monetization models and performance-driven SEO strategies
• Experience managing Team Leads and multiple SEO functions simultaneously
• Deep understanding of forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, and SEO economics
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven business decisions
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in iGaming, Casino, Betting, Affiliate Marketing, Fintech, or other highly competitive industries
• Experience building SEO departments from scratch
• Experience managing SEO operations across Tier 1 markets (UK, US, CA, AU, DE, NL, Nordics)
• Experience building and managing teams of 20+ specialists
• Experience implementing AI-driven SEO workflows and large-scale automation
• Experience participating in market expansion initiatives, product launches, or M&A projects
• Strong understanding of affiliate business models and commercial SEO performance metrics
